intro/interlude/outro，即引子、开场、片尾曲、插曲，通常以曲调的形式出现于专辑中，展示乐队的风格、个性与内涵。

intro，即引子、前奏，常以一段曲子开场，后接专辑的第一首正式曲目（常是主打曲目）。也有单独一段小曲子，配合MV展示整张专辑的风格与故事。好的intro常给人眼睛（或耳朵…）一亮的感觉，让听者更细心的欣赏、品味专辑。

interlude，即插曲，常以过渡的形式展示专辑的故事情节与内容,接上一曲末尾出现，也有单独的长曲子形式出现。最喜欢Post-Hardcore/Emocore风格的专辑中，一阵狂风暴雨后，宁静、抒情的interlude给人以休憩的感觉，犹如一片细雨，静静的洒下来…

outro，即结尾曲，让听者充分回味专辑的曲调、旋律与故事。
